Since appearance is the topic here, I'll ask if anybody knows a site where you can view the old Velious custom helm graphics. I remember the Iksar one, which I coveted endlessly, but few of the others.

Ogre stun immunity is "nice" but you really have to be back into a corner or perfectly against a flat wall as mob push WILL interrupt you. Being immune to kick's / bash though is very nice.

+3 regen is meh, at 50 with rage and chloro im at 38 or 40 sitting which makes canni a non issue really.

The ogre frontal stun only works on bash type stun, so if a mob is beating on you and lands a bash while your cast that bash wont interrupt you.

Mob push and mob spells with stun will still interrupt, so if your not against a wall and a mob hits you you may still get interrupted as that hit pushed you and any push will interrupt.

I play in 3rd person also and havent really had much of an issue, i zoom out pretty far though and really dont mouseclick to target.

When you get to a higher level it wont matter so much as you can spell shrink inside and use shrink potions outside to bring yourself down to size.

If your looking for the race with the "best" advantages its going to be ogre later on because of stun immunity, troll regen and the clicky snare neck aren't worth much of anything.

if your talking about appearance then i believe youve already made your choice...

Just as a note, the ogre frontal stun immunity has saved my ass on many occasions and makes soloing at higher levels way way easier.

They can quest for a necklace with clinging darkness, anyone who has played a necro to lvl 4 can tell you its useless. Even with sow you would have to run forever to gain enough ground to cast on a mob.

Not the most super awesome item, but I'd hardly call it useless.

Not to mention you could always Root before casting it.

You could pull with it, its just the snare effect is almost non existent. I would recommend lvl a necro to 4 and testing it before making a troll just for that necklace.
