I assume it uses some cryptic conversion of the HP cost and converts it to fizzle mana cost. Maybe fizzle has a flat "entry-fee" base amount of mana that you lose on any fizzle. I don't have the time or interest in spending 8 hours in the wayback machine in an attempt to find info on a 15 year old version of canni mechanics that -may- be bugged, or simply classic!

![]() after 2 min of research, apparently it has a fizzle adj of 25 mana. But does specialization lower fizzle chance?
