freeport faction's
I started a dark elf SK not too long ago and realized that she would be unable to level up smithing in Neriak since banded armor molds are not sold there (and dairy spoons are not in game yet). It seems as my best option is to at least get up my coalitionoftradefolk and coalitionoftradefolk illegal factions so that I can buy and sell in east freeport then sneak around the guards to the forge/ vendors.
I've been running the note for rebby, note for jamn, and locket quest with a human rouge mule and having my SK do the final turn ins for the faction hit. so far I've turned in 92 whiskers 14 notes and 8 lockets. my starting factions are dubious to trade folk and trade folk illegal, and glares to freeport militia. none of my factions have changed yet.
From old post's relating to these quest's before freeport was re-done on live it looks like whiskers were weighted with a faction of 1, while lockets and notes grant a faction hit of 5. with that in mind i should have taken a total faction hit of +202; and from what i remember of the old faction system that should have bumped me into apprehensive with the rouge's in freeport.
I've sunk a lot of time into this so far and it's driving me a little bit nuts. There's no point in stopping now however it would be nice to know exactly how much of a faction hit is award for each quest and the ranges of various factions. Has anyone else messed around with these quests yet? how many turn in's did it take for you?
