Remember Albinos, Overlords, and Reavers? You are telling me you would pay someone 10 dollars to have reduced health/armor, IE balanced/fair/not boring as fuck sitting there for 4 minutes reloading and unloading hundreds of rounds of ammo into their skull?

![]() Jauna I bet you're one of those jackass's who wants steam workshop to have paid mods. *facepalm* Why the fuck would I pay anyone $10 to mod a game that I mod myself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bobp5OHVsWY
Fallout 3 was perfect for what it was. You need to wake up and smell the radocative air and realize that New Vegas was Fallout 3, with a new map, quests overhaul, etc You can't dispute that. It's not like the difference between say morrowind and skyrim. Those are two different games. Fallout New Vegas IS fallout 3 that was modded by the obsidian team after being ported to the newer version of the engine.

![]() who gives a shit about the mistakes and plot holes. the game is damn fun, and the environment/immersiveness is damn good. I mean we play everquest ffs, it looks so bad in comparison to other games. Is this seriously an argument here?

And I will disagree with you that New Vegas is just a mod to FO3: Most of the original staff of FO1 and FO2 was working on it Better story More put together "world", smaller, but it had more content. FO3 was less content, and bigger world. This is not good or fun Better side quests. Better use of misc objects around the world Better DLC, dont you sit there and tell me that Operation: Anchorage can hold a candle to Dead Money, or Point Lookout is as good as OWB. Because you would just be lying. The Pitt was awesome, I will give it that because it was the only thing that felt like Fallout. And lets not even mention Honest Hearts or Broken Steel to keep this thread getting moved to R&F More weaponry, ammo and much, much.. much better perks. New Vegas > FO3 in every way possible. Even the modding community swarmed to that game and stayed there. wanna know what mods I had for New Vegas to make it awesome? Big bouncing titty mods Removing the circle iron sight from the Cowboy Repeater Increased Ammo Yield for Junk Rounds Thats it. Vanilla weapons, vanilla armor, vanilla ammo, vanilla world*. I loved it to fuck and back.

![]() I'll agree that we both disagree with each other. You are right though I am upset that someone dislikes something I obsessed over.
So back on topic. The art style of the Fallout 4 video seemed mildly cartoon-ish. am I the only one who felt that way? Yall think it will reflect that in game or it's just the style of the trailer? Fallout 4 - Official Trailer : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GE2BkLqMef4

Fallout3 took a shit on the fans of Fallout 1 and 2, going from complex game mechanics, a world you can manipulate more than a few dialog options, go through the entire game without killing everyone and using the power of your voice to talk people from arming Doomsday weapons.. then fallout 3 happened. New Vegas gave me hope that Bethesda did not know what the fuck they were doing and put it into the hands of the people who did. 7 years have passed since FO3 released and hope they learned from their mistakes

![]() Fallout 4 will probably be terrible for the first couple weeks as per usual with Bethesda. Just gotta wait for all the fan mods to fix it.

I loved the first two fallout games(plus tactics), but that had to evolve, and maybe devolve in some ways. If a company just services existing fans, it pretty much just rules out potential new fans and new play styles. I dont think the intention of bethesda was to insult any fans, but to try its best to live up to the old fallout games standards. I dont think there was any other company at the time that could of done better. I loved morrowind, and if anything comes close to the depth of that game, it has to be Fallout 3. When a new company picks up where an old company left off, its foolish to expect the same as the previous company made.
