That 14.4k modem doe! And i have no idea what channel I was in, i was years ago. I know I used to love the FoB map though, fierce ocean combat, shit was legit on low.

Oh and I had a hong kong friend named sues, she was awesome. This was around the same time that China was going to annex Hong Kong because I remember her being upset about that and fearing it was going to happen.

PoF, PB, etc was the epitome of a warm body zerg. They couldn't speak English, never wore any gear, and naked bind rushed 24/7.

Kind of the Empire model tho

Open recruitment with the strongest rising to the top

T-staff star destroyers surrounded by pumice tie fighters, u kno?

Everyone was winning and getting their epic... until we decided to be elitist, not invite other guilds/players in and stopped respecting the GMs. AKA a recipe for guild disaster.

AD did the opposite. Admittedly they had a "pocket" GM as someone's cousin in da guild but.. we constantly refused to do what the staff said on grounds they were making up rules on the spot (they were, but doesn't matter you gotta follow em). We refused to make alliances with Begotten (not sure they woulda but) and others... AD took them to their side and we hadta drink our own bad decision cocktail. Admittedly also, FU had the top pvpers on the server.. and if you're following me here, that's not the only thing that matters. Luckily we have the best of all worlds in Empire and have learned from the mistakes shown to us in history.

So yes, you gotta give the victory to AD for playing ball with the staff, keeping recruitment open and being extremely dedicated to winning and non-elitist (even if they had elite players who acted this way) and non-exclusive when the crown was on the table.

If you want to win? There's a recipe, and it takes a lot of dedication and constantly gearing up a relatively high turn over member base while the cream rises to the top. We are on top and dem pixels real creamy, u dig?

AD didn't have GM support though.

But yes AD did have similar principles, 80-20 rule that applies to most mmo guilds. 80% being carried by the top 20% to pixel glory.

Trilenia cousin was a GM, no?

Just sayin'.

But it was more that FU/PB would defy GMs to their face while AD backed them. That's what happens when you become mad with power in Norrath I guess.

Got fucked realllllll hard for it.
