Teams servers were hard coded by race or alignment. For example Sullon Zek had a Good, Neutral, and Evil team that divided certain races and classes between the team.

You could not hit other members of your team even with AOE spells which added an extra dynamic to pvp and coordination.

Sadly it still didn't stop zerging mainly because they never capped teams, but it definitely helped. But they should have made a team off limits after too many people choose that team.

only player base can stop zerging.

Assuming we have teams similar to VZ and TZ live, will be interesting to see what people decide to do. Will all the min/maxers roll human team for access to every class (bards), or will they still go dark for ogre and troll? Either way predicting elf team as underdog.

T99 would have 600+. Lots of Bluebies have expressed interest in PvP server as long as it had a team-based ruleset.
