The problem with the red server is it started with a crappy rule set requested by the people who just want to grief.

I think there would have been a lot more interest in the beginning if it had some teams (racial imo) and a lot of the mechanics it has now.

Racial or Religious based teams (Sullon) woulda been ideal.

pvp teams server in the distant distance, talk of trying item loot at least to begin with... i think that's a good step for it.

there were no maps in this classic era. if you want those luxuries on a pvp server i think LoZ on the server select caters for that kind of thing.

A lot of red haters in this thread, who'd have thought?

This.
Team PvP with one item loot and coin loot. No LnS rules, but let server population deal with their own sh1t. Laws against exploiters and cheaters must be strictly enforced though.

I often ask my self the same question but about Blue. On Red you level up, gear up, then kill your pals. On blue, you level up, gear up, then....sit in EC tunnel? Forumquest? I dunno, it always seems like there isn't a goal for me on blue.

Thats basically it for blue, you get 60 then either subject yourself to the raid scene as it currently is, spend your days accumulating a bigger and bigger plat mountain or roll an alt and do it all over again with better gear.

Like it or hate it, red has a much more effective way of settling camp disputes.

the endgame on blue is standing in EC tunnel or staring at a raid mob's spawn point for upwards of 16 hours

the endgame on red is killing people to settle disputes

Endgame on blue is leveling alts you twink, soloing/duoing group content or 1 grouping "raid content".

Neckbeard game on blue is staring at a wall for 16 hours. Truth. Sim Repop game though is way more entertaining.
