Taxes seem a little different in Canada but I always have an extra $500/month voluntarily taken off. Then at the end of the year get 7-8k back and do whatever the hell I want.

If you're self employed you pay your taxes on your own which would explain the large tax bill if you hadn't been doing your estimated taxes, which given the many exemptions to the estimated tax penalty, is not worth doing.

Ya'll need to know what 1099-misc is. Also, there are things called tax brackets. You 99% mother fuckers wouldn't know what that is though since you guys never break the walmart/mcdonald tier.
