Who knew nepotism was so prevalent in WWE. I imagine someone would have to care first, but I suppose it's a mildly entertaining discovery.
Actually, this is more of a case where the skill and ability was in the genes.

BUT, WWE does tend to try to get 2nd and 3rd generation wrestlers (especially ones related to stars from their history). Bo and Bray, the Usos, Natalya, Orton, Los Matadores (both sons of Puerto Rican WWE HoFer Carlos Colon)... and those are just the ones that are coming to my brain right now. The Rock was the 1st 3rd-Generation wrestler in the WWE.

I think a third of the Rock's entire family has been involved with WWF/WWE at some point.

Practically. He's a member of the Anoaʻi family. That Samoan family is pretty much nothing but wrestlers. "High Chief" Peter Maivia, The original Wild Samoans (Afa and Sika), The Headshrinkers (Samu and WWE HoFer Fatu aka Rikishi), Rosie (The Hurricane's "Super Hero In Training" if you think back to 2003/2004ish), the late Umaga, the late Yokozuna, Roman Reigns... and those are just the ones who made it to the WWE. ((Tamina Snuka is also supposedly related, but I'm not exactly sure how.))

Honestly, when it's stuff like WWE and "the rock" or w/e acting and stuff like that, I dont see a problem with nepotism if they can do the job. People should be allowed to spread the wealth around in the family.

It is lame when its lots and lots of money/power/dynasty and it's perpetual and the people suck. And the only reason it's protected/allowed to go on is when laws and government and corruption perpetuate it.

Also, I think wrestlin probably takes certain sacrifices that come easier to people who know what it takes. Not that they don't enjoy it.

But you'de never get me to do it. So I don't see anything wrong with recruiting from people in the know, who are close, and who know about it.
