OK, this has a day night component to it, which I can't quite get working right without a TON of scripting. Will advise.

so is this fixed? i haven't seen a ghast after several hours also =(
perhaps the tunare initiate quest could just bypass this req somehow instead?

I just happened to come across this thread, but I killed a ghast a while back while running through LFay. Didn't know what it was, so I killed it. Only one I saw, but I didn't look for long.
