Last night, anyone who hadn't turned in PvP book in gnomecity turned in their PvP books whe they got to Freeport [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
We raced all the way to Toxx Spires. Took just over 2 hours. (Damn boats.) Pimask was first gnome to spires, and won the sweet prize. I was a sad second behind him. (First visit to Toxx, and duh - map in zone. Would have been a good thing to realize before I stumbled around looking for the spires with /loc!) Thanks Vesica Dei (especially Acillatem) for running this. It's not an every-night kind of fun, but it sure put some laughs into an otherwise grinding Thursday [You must be logged in to view images. Oh so you DID the pvp book thing after all? Awesome. I wish I could have participated. Next time. Could do the reverse. Naked Erudite run? We'll probably get hassled by the po-lice.

Ya we did this last night as a Vesica Dei guild event - it was a blast!
We broke it down into "legs" with the winners of each leg receiving prizes. We also had honorable mentions like "first to die", "best dressed" (someone went and got their n00b robe lol) and "first to fall off the boat" etc. Started in Steamfront, I bound everyone in WFP, then I went to Rivervale and bound everyone there, then it was on to Tox spires. The leader was LITERALLY 10 feet from the spires when he was killed by a kobold and a skellie haha. It came down to the wire but we had a blast - lots of laughs. The funniest moment was when I said "GO!" and watching a mass of gnomes bum-rush Steamfornt towards LFay lol. Anywayz - I'm thinking of hosting a "server-wide" Gnome Race [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Gimme some time to get some prizes available (I'm not oozing plat) and I will organize this sometime in the next couple of weeks. It's good to have a "fun" event every now and then. Grinding levels, farming the same mobs/zones etc gets boring after a while - and it was refreshing to have an alternative to the grind. | ||

Maybe start in two places at once since there would be a big crowd. You could choose to be a naked Gnome or Naked Erudite. First Gnome to Toxx or first Erudite to AK. Hottas | ||
