Kedge Keep. Low vision, crappyness of EQ's underwater-mechanics, occasional pathing lunacy, huge swarms of mobs ready to bounce you through the walls and floors.

Pretty much any zone when I first started out. Wc was scary as hell with young kodiaks trying to kill me all over the place.

Then for some reason I got ported to butcherblock at level 6... No bind, no knowledge of where to go... I got scared and gated [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Lower Guk is the scariest shit, only because you can start massive trains by doing the following things:

(a) moving into a wall slightly
(b) pulling certain mobs

Seriously.

edit: also, what the fuck is with that room of skeletons? Whose idea was it to put them so close that they couldn't be pulled except by pulling ten at once?

I never had this problem, at all - Lguk's pathing was leaps and bounds ahead of MM, Unrest, Kedge, or Sol B. Which camp are you referring to?

Those skeletons are a non-issue, since you could run by them without them aggroing [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Yeah, they are kinda weird, but I never found them to be a problem.

Not a p99 zone, but....

The first time I crossed the invisible bridge in The Deep, my palms were sweaty and I almost peed my pants irl. Great memory lol!!

At this level 16.... Kith at night is scary. You do a lot of traveling from WC/Befallen to High Hold/Runneye for groups at this level.

At higher levels GUK is not scary, but intense to move from point A to B.

Initial breakin to Fear or Hate was always scary, cause I was not always 100% sure which way to go.... not train the camp spot...etc.

In the BR if you swim up to it and put your body slightly in the wall, assuming you are an appropriate level to draw aggro, you will draw like twenty mobs at once. It's pretty clear actually since you'll see the "FRRRRROOOOOOOAK" message twenty times, and subsequently poo yourself.

Also on the live side there's a mob you can pull (the EE placeholder I think? Not sure) and it goes through the wall, social-aggroing several mobs with it.

Whoever said the skeletons are splittable (without a monk?).. well I guess I haven't tried hard enough then.

I can get as few as 2 adds with my bard using lull song.
With my enchanter I can lull them all.

Usually thought it's quicker to just stunlock or mez them though. Groups get mad impatient despite the advantage of breaking the camp for respawns.

Lull works just fine. Pal/Clr/Enc/Brd should have no issues splitting it.

They can be split multiple ways actually. More zones should have certain areas where specific classes are required. SOmething that most MMO's don't do anymore.
