![]() Yes, I have seen him and other folks have too. I remember during the Plague of Bertoxxulous years ago seeing him in SK.
According to Allakazam... The Ring of the Ancients drops from "an ancient cyclops," found in Eastern Karana, Southern Karana, Ocean of Tears, and Southern Desert of Ro. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=28 I wonder what the PH could be. Static spawns are the PHs for Grizzleknot and Coloth... He also isn't tied to any of the Quillmane PHs that cross the mound.

![]() ENCOUNTER_DESCRIPTION SROHusamAncientNightfall
MONSTER_1_NAME a_desert_madman MONSTER_1_NIGHT_NAME an_ancient_cyclops MONSTER_1_PERCENT 10 MONSTER_2_NAME a_sand_giant MONSTER_2_NIGHT_NAME a_mummy MONSTER_2_PERCENT 20 MONSTER_3_NAME a_sand_giant MONSTER_3_PERCENT 10 MONSTER_4_NAME a_dervish_cutthroat MONSTER_4_PERCENT 30 MONSTER_5_NAME a_desert_madman MONSTER_5_PERCENT 30 So basically, the PHer in Ro is a single PHer. It can be 1 of 4 mobs, a dervish cutthroat, a desert madman, a mummy and a sand giant. AC has a 10% chance of spawning, however he must spawn at night hours, not sure what EQ deems to be 'night' but I'd imagine 9PM-4AM would be a safe guess.

![]() Me and my trusty team of four friends got him to spawn three times last night. He is however, the hardest version of the AC, where as a 45 wizard dumped all his mana to nuking him, and only did around 50% health.

![]() It's hard to tell if it's part of the Quil cycle, the mobs here are like the twilight zone.
