You just need to focus on mobs that are level 2 or higher. Because 1 is such a wonderful number, you need to kill 4x the number of L1 mobs than L2 mobs so something like 504 vs 126 as a sk at L3 (not sure of Ogre racial penalty offhand). Subsequent levels the disparity shrinks considerably. In this regard L3 is really kind of the first hell level ^^ due to the lack of level 2 mobs in newby areas ^^

The ogre SK penalty is 61% according to the wiki.

Thanks for all the information, I am definitely going to try and make a break for the EC area zones, I get turned around and lost so easy in Feerot! I may have to venture up too highpass to grab some armor!
