I always found jousting to be pretty pointless. It simply drags out a fight longer then it has to be. It also depends on what class you are vs what your fighting.

I love ragebringer fungi twinks trying to joust me on Ninja... if they would just stand still and land a few rounds they might kick my ass... instead they joust and negate all that haste and low delay and let me unload 2h double attacks on them.... Iool didn't land a single backstab last night in his 4 attempts on me and left the zone at 40-50% running each time to recharge with his fungi while I never dropped below 70%... seriously though, why are you jousting with ragebringer? Just get on someone and stay on them you terribad scrubs. Minimizing your own DPS while maximizing mine = good way to die to a rag wearing newb.

Jousting only effective for more or less equal melee dps 1v1, or if you are using a slow 2h weapon and wanting to negate delay.... or if you're a pet class jousting mobs with melee between combat rounds lol.

Youre all terrible at PVP. Even the best among you are terrible, just less terrible than the other 40 people on the server.


1v1s last 10 minutes because even when geared, youre both terrified to fight so you dance around each other.


Youre scared to death of an even match.


When you die, you claim the other guy was using some underhanded means to defeat you or you were lagging or got Dc'd (read: plugged but wont admit it)


You will run from a fight and plug because youre scared.


The leaderboard is flawed because most kills are gotten from corpse camping.


The only people willing to pvp at low level are twinks fighting naked lowbies, because you know youre terrible.


Then, after all that, you get on the forums and cry about injustice because you died, or initiate a chimp-like circlejerk with the 8 other people in your guild.
