Regular goblins fixes some factions, named goblins fixes more. Eunomia informed me that letting my pet clear while I was afk wasn't an acceptable practice.

Edit- stupid auto correct

The searth function doesn't work for me so I can't find the post she referenced. But, nilbog made a post a few years back discussing mage's using their pets to kill stuff while afk. The way he phrased the comments made it possible to interpret what he said as any afk killing was frowned upon. I made a petition asking for clarification, and didn't get any response from anyone other than Eunomia. It wasn't worth it, to me, to push the matter further.

it's better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission

I believe it was not allowed on live. I killed Vicus Nonad in Qeynos over and over while AFK on my Beastlord to raise my Ring of Scale faction. I remember being very nervous and hoping when I woke up in the morning that I would not be banned/suspended.

To clear up any misunderstanding:

From the Play Nice Policy found here: http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=132299

It is against the rules to "afk camp" any npc or groups of NPC's by placing a pet nearby and letting it kill while you are away from your computer. Any other form of "afk camping/xping" is also against the rules, and you may be subject to disciplinary action (character de-leveling by deathloop is a popular punishment).
Originally, it was noted as "frowned upon" but people didn't understand what that meant, so now it's in the rules.

Hey Eunomia, you ever get bored just pop over to mistmoor and take a look at the dhamp camp. Most frequently afk camped mob I can think of.

Harmony the mob and get as close to the mob as you can and open the tradebox in 3rd person view, before you hit the trade button have someone cast Invis on you. Should work as long as all you need to be is indifferent.

Otherwise if you're a race that can hide, you can hide while the tradebox is open, just be sure to con the mob and make sure it's indifferent first.

The only way this works is if the Tradebox is open BEFORE you invis/hide.
