Surface Pro 3 - trouble getting game to load

Go to your eq folder, right click eqgame.exe and move to Compability tab.
Choose Run this program in compatibility mode, and choose Win Xp Service Pack 2.

If you guys have more problems with the surface pro I will try to check back here and answer, mine has been running OK for a while now. Though the SP3 is really just a laptop in tablet form, the normal setup procedures should work. Not all of the settings copied over when I straight up copy pasted the same files from my other computer, which threw me for a loop.

Compatibility mode did the trick for me [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

here were my eqclient settings

WidthWindowed=1024
HeightWindowed=768
WindowedWidth=1024
WindowedHeight=768
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0

Also im using eqemu [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

annnnnd i have this checked

WindowedMode=TRUE
