Reminds me of the time I tried to play on this server and 1 guy was trying to grief a whole group of people in unrest. Had every lvl range character camped there in god and dragon loot trying to kill anyone and everyone but couldn't because our group as too powerful so all he did was bitch. When he finally got me alone and killed me I was the "fucking noob." Sums up why I don't play on red.

Could have briefly explained it to him in one sentence.

"if you want to get your corpse the rules state all you have to do is call "LnS" - "loot and scoot" -and then you can get your gear and leave the zone without being attacked."

New players can get frustrated easily and it's not your responsibility to hold their hands... but a little helping hand can go a long way to increasing the population.

Fucking hell, newbies read the rules, christ. Why would you play here without doing so.

But, one thing to note that could bite you if he complains enough to GMs,

"A player is 'Looting and Scooting' (LnSing) when he has died to an opponent and opts to call Loot and Scoot. You must make your intentions clear that you are loot and scooting by communicating with the other people in the zone(s) you move through, as well as with the person who killed you, or your LnS claim will not be valid, and you can be killed."

There is no specific requirement to LNS in /ooc, just to make the intent clear to those that killed, which in this case he did in /t to you.

regardless, dude had it coming if he doesn't know to read the rules.
