You can enjoy red99 without joining a top dog guild. Just really depends on what you want out of the game.

I find things change when you hit 56 because even the small guilds get associated with one faction or another (Azrael or Holo or whatever). This means you are open season to all lvl 60s unless you ally with a side.

One group is not better then the other, its just a reality on the server when you lvl up.

I kinda thought Holocaust was recruiting at all levels. I didn't think I'd have to get to 50+ to even be considered.

Kind of defeats the purpose of joining Red, if I have to get to such a high level to qualify for a decent guild. I'm also never intending to do any sort of content other than casual planar trash.

I have four big goals as a Paladin.

1. Get the Epic, Fiery Defender (or Fiery Avenger minimum).
2. Full suit of Valorium armor.
3. 41% haste belt from Sky.
4. JBoots.

Accomplish all these, and I will be happy at level 60. Poopsocking and batphoning named mobs (aside from the ones necessary for my epic) concern me not.

Maybe I will give Red a try.

Well, I'll see if I can find a nice guild to join along the way. Hopefully there's groups at all levels, because I suspect 18 and onward will be the biggest stretches.

I'm only level 2 but I've bumped into a few people and nobody has given me any trouble yet. The server isn't as dead as people think.

I think I could grow to enjoy this.

Super easy. Would never suggest soloing shit is dumb with a 300% group exp bonus.

Tons of people go it alone, and there are multiple other guilds you can join.
