Fuck them. There are even videos of the drop and they had parachutes on them. Either they are a dumbass Iraqi, a corrupt one or they are under the age of 10. Spent over a year there in Tikrit and every single one of the police or army units we worked with was useless. No wonder they threw down their arms and decided to be shot in a ditch. That's the majority of the mentality of their military and police. Either repress the people, or be a coward.

The look on their faces when we cemented in the tar pits they were dipping people into for torture was amazing. Looked like a dog who just watched their owner be shot.

But anyway, nation building or not, prolly same outcome on the out going. All for slappin them silly, but that's all that seems to work there, and maybe democracy isn't that. That takes time and a desire for it to actually work, a better foundation than they seem to have. Slap another dictator in there... get called an imperialist.
