I'm not sure of the clockworks in Sol A affect epic or not I just heard there is a part involving gnomes which may or may not be on same faction. It can be corrected and Kunark is a long ass way off. This is the only faction I've changed for the worse from default starting factions.

Oh and I should add I killed maybe 5-10 clockworks my faction isn't maxed out negative or anything, just got some pulls while in a Sol A group before I knew about epic.

Everything I've said about the faction is 100% true and the fuck should I care about faction issues that may come into play 6 months to a year from now that can easily be corrected in a night? Seriously, fuck off.

Oh and I love that you added the bit about "money err plat". I've gotten about 4 PMs asking me to sell for money and I've responded to none of them.
