It's obvious PvPing with Equal Gear is an outrage to Nihilum and the rest of the server.

instead why not donate for fresh server? its project1999 mission statement that your toon will never be deleted, so if they wiped it would be a total breach of integrity.

if people are willing to donate, just buy a new server for rogean and it can be your "wipe"

This is not EQ Live, we don't have a population of 500-1500. We have a very low population, that only has room to grow, not decline. We need a fresh wipe, it would motivate EVERYONE to play red 99. you would get donations to wipe, and donations after wipe. Lets get this done! It has worked many many times in the past.

Having read the following posts, I highly doubt this would bring 'everyone' back to play. In fact it would turn most people away who have built characters up and have been not playing solely for the reason they are waiting on velious only to come back.

Fat chance in hell they will ever wipe the server for a pre velious release and drop a bunch of level 1s with velious content. But lets say they did, I probably would not come back to play and invest as much time as I previously did. If i caught the itch again i MIGHT try to do the grind n gear over again but no thx. People who think they are geared poorly to others for velious release can use this time to finish leveling up then gear up to get on par. If you aren't planning on doing VP with the main guild who raids it, nihilum. then obviously you will be missing out on certain item drops, But that doesn't mean some epic rogue with crap gear cant hand a player with VP weapons, or a crown of rile their ass in a pvp fight. In a 1v1 sure they can be more a bit more careless due to a gear advantage if your in rags, but if you have half of kunark items but no vp, its a small gap.

It is a known fact Nihilum started on this server with Nag/Vox loot day one. They in no way were on equal footing at any point in the history of this box. So the fact they won the server has nothing to do with the fact they were just a better guild.
