and realized I had zero desire to devote time to any of these games. Does anyone know this feel? I have other things I like to do with leisure time, but gaming has always been one that sustained me, kept me up long hours into the night, I now feel very vanilla that I have no urge to play anything.

I will stare at my computer screen for about an hour trying to decide what I want to play now-a-days. Mass Effect is about the only set of games that has been doing it for me lately, and even then it's hard to boot it up. I even spent $150 to get into the Archeage Alpha and as much as I fucking love that game, I just can't seem to convince my self I should play it.

I think I need to start playing Magic the Gathering again.

I did that for a couple of years. Ended up coming back to gaming. It mainly had to do with having a gf, and things to do outside of gaming.

As for DoTA 2 ehhh I wouldn't say the learning curve is very high at all. To master it or become really good at it? Yes.
I am level 8 on there, and I'd say about 1/4 of my games I have ridiculous scores like 20+/10 and under.
If you are good at timing and A + Left Click you will do well in the CS department. As far as "out trading/being more skilled than an opponent"; you don't have to worry about that unless you play support or an underfarmed AGI carry champ. Most Heroes Full to 0 in a matter of seconds (or at least the ones I play)

Yes, you might be growing up. Find other challenges in life and accept that your interests may change as you grow and mature.

I've been going through the same thing for a while. I try to download new games to see if something will excite me enough to keep playing. I bought the new xbox and a couple games a few weeks ago and I find myself just sitting playing for maybe an hour every couple days.
