Quest Issue: shaman epic faction WTF???

With the new faction display on live, would it perhaps be worth it to turn in each piece and see how many faction points the turnins are.

I did Bondl on my 100 Druid and got +100 Truespirit. I could do the rest of the quest if it is information Nilbog would use to retune faction values.

Might I direct you to the Paladin Fiery Avenger quest? It really wasn't that implausible of a notion. And you really only needed to track one down til you are out of apprehensively. Epic quests take collaboration and tea worked throughout their duration. Even with this restriction it is the easiest epic bar rogues. Atleast you can still finish it in your low 50s where's necros mages Druids warriors rangers wizards are in guilds that kill raid mobs every week and they still don't have their epic after many months of that because epic drops off raid bosses are rare.

It should be fixed, yes. But it really isn't that unreasonable of a bar to set to achieve an epic. You want unreasonable let's talk about the necro of Mage epics.

not the same situation, if the enc had to come charm something so you could use it and move it then it would be but as it stands now you need the enchanter to come charm the mob so you can repeat the step numerous times and maybe not even see a bump in faction

The faction on Bondl turn in may be low as well. Something to look at IMO.

may as well hand them out at lvl 50. REally devalues ye olde mystical toofpick.

Not that i intend to do mine, never liked the spear on live and cant get my head around that feeling.

Not an exploit, just part of the game. Still able to do it on live.

^ Those are the faction hits live has currently for the quest. Interestingly everything is a +100 hit except Neh'Ashiir's turnin, which is 695.

Shamans should default to indifferent Truespirit. Every other class should default to Apprehensively.

If you feel so inclined to adjust faction values based on the EQLive ones that's your perogative. I have no way of proving either way that they are classic or not. Just what the new "show the faction amount" feature from EQLive showed when I did the epic factions.

Those faction hits are really fucking weird. It was 4 woe/envy turn ins at the most to max your faction, but that would only be +800 faction given your logs. But you're showing at least 1495 from that step to the end (+ whatever is after Neh Ashiir, seems like you didn't go further).

Something obviously got changed since that doesn't even correlate with my 2007 EQ Progression experience (where I used Woe/Envy to faction skip my epic). But why would they go back and alter the faction for the Kunark epic so late into EQ? Just so you could faction skip with the first turn in more easily?
