You can pretty much conglomerate all of the class R guilds into one amoebic mass of "people killing old shit that isn't challenging because that's what they want to do and they don't care about being number 1", and beyond that there's two guilds left to rank, TMO and IB.


For the record though, RAEV, I WAS TWISTING MY HEART OUT WITH RESIST/HEAL SONGS DURING THAT FIGHT OK SOME OF US WERE TRYING REALLY REALLY HARD

I see what you're saying Splorf and I agree that Kunark is trivial. But Trakanon isn't necessarily a good benchmark either. He's pretty much the easiest kunark dragon besides fay.

Grabbing 40 people to faceroll their keyboards wont work on Hosh, or Nexona. 70 people making one big mistake can wipe hard, and 30 people playing smart will have a clean kill. Like, two years ago TMO left Gorenaire up in dreadlands and the server had an open raid on him with 170 people and wiped at like 30%. I might even still have fraps of that. The kill felt epic when it happened though.

Since always, I think. On this server at least, I don't know if it's classic how easy he is. He doesn't fear at all and wastes time casting terrible necro spells. Often is dead before second aoe. After first AoE is baited on one DA'd person.

Jugs and a more intense race make Trak the harder raid, but the mob itself is much easier than Tal/Sev. If all 3 mobs were alone, that is. We Engage Trakanon with fewer than we'd engage the other two you mentioned (10-15 people, when we FTE). And even still, he drops steadily the jugs feel like the biggest hurdle.
