regarding the USA team, if they have their eyes on 2018, they should try to have the team relocated to a more competitive qualifying zone, as central american teams (mexico excluded) do not have very competitive teams, and canada... do they even play?
I think some teams end up in the world cup more as a result of the lack of merit of the other teams than their own skills. (in past WC it was the case of saudi arabia, costa rica and a few more cases, now we have iran and honduras) | ||

USA bring it at the big events. I think they'll finish 2nd to Germany, and Ghana/Portugal will underperform.
Definitely the group of death though, but if you want to win a big tournament you have to beat the best (except Greece who won Euro 2004 somehow [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.])

Personally, I think the final will be Germany vs Holland , even though i am Croatian I don't see them going far Between Gotze, Ozil, and the other like 15 amazing players germany has they're going to be tough to beat | ||
