Global OOC kind of makes a trading hub pointless right now too...maybe one will develop once the regional OOC changes are implemented.

Maybe there could be some sort of all-gem trading system in-place, since you can't loot items?

With enough population, I don't think it would be impossible to establish a trading hub in the tunnel. Folks would probably attempt to disrupt it, but that just opens up the doors for a police guild to keep the order!

In general, I agree. It's not needed right now, but maybe some day.... ?
