Crypt named have always run here - stuff has just been broken recently and not always running. For example, little drolvargs in KC haven't been running when previously they always did.

This has been hashed out before, Pikrib. Another example would be undead frogloks in guk fleeing.
Maybe you should find evidence that they don't flee if you're looking to change the status quo.

checked it out on Live, Baron Yosig does indeed flee at low health on Live:

Log in or Register.] i noticed on my way to the crypt, though, that the bugs at NG flee at low health on Live. also, the undead frogs in the crypt flee at low health.... i don't recall if they do that on P99 or not, though (been too long since i've been down there) as a side note, apparently you can see actual faction hit values on Live now: [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] the frogs at the entrance are worth 1 positive Legion faction, but the crypt frogs are worth 5: [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] might be useful for some data mining
