Mobs casting through walls(los on end of cast) and chasing through walls has been in since day 1.

Ive learned to just deal with it but shit falling through floors just brings the rage all back.

As far as red99 goes, its just a phase. The inherent problems in eq will come to face the new players looking for something new to try and hopefully they will come back to blue instead of burning them out after grinding out all those levels.

In fact now that i think about, damn near every wow emulator has z axis problems when warriors charge. Obviously going from a to b isnt always a straight line and i hope one day all will be fixed.

Not me. I hope the red population booms and stays booming. Then they can know the joys of traveling for 30+ minutes through multiple zones and realizing that the mobs you wanted to kill are permacamped. That and if both servers are nice and populated, isn't that better for the project as a whole?

Alecta doesn't do blue development. I think Nilbog may have pulled him to help with 1 or 2 changes (if any), but he was brought on for PvP development and nothing else.

I honestly could care less how much dev time is invested into the red server, I'm just so tired of seeing threads about your server and its plight all over blue forums all day. Red players trying to keep us bluebies updated on red server drama we dont care about, begging us to play red with them, calling us pussies when that doesnt draw us over, etc. etc.

Like holy shit its like having jehovah's witnesses at your door every single day.

Agreed.

As True Blue as I am, I want Red to be the best possible experience for those people as it can be.

I've never, even for a second, thought Devs should be doing things that benefit me more than other people. Likewise, I only play melee types and don't care how much time is devoted to caster problems. In fact, I hope as much time as possible is devoted to every aspect of P/R99. I generally trust whatever management system the Devs have in place and don't even give it a second thought.

I don't play on red because EQ isn't a PvP game and I'm not going to try to force it to be something it's not. I have other games that I play when I'm feeling some PvP and they're all much better suited to it than EQ is. EQ is my kick back and relax game.
