Soft aces are tricky. For the record...
A/2 & A/3 double against 5/6
A/4 & A/5 double against 4/5/6
A/6 & A/7 double against 3/4/5/6
I somewhat agree, but people live and die by the book. i'm a gambler by nature, that double down is always so tempting.

Should learn to play poker so you can actually make some monies. I think if I were to play blackjack, I'd probably invest as little time as possible to actually learn it and just accept the fact that I'm donating.

poker is too slow...i crave the fast action. this wasn't even one of my worst losses, sadly. I've taken down AC for 15K in one evening with a $900 bankroll, but lost 10K in 2 nights too..
