Just curious if anyone at the con recognized what your costume was? Did anyone point at you and go, "Seargeant Slate!"?

Unfortunately no. Even if I had the helmet, I doubt anyone would have recognized me. No big deal though. It was a costume I wanted to make.

Honestly, about 8 hours. I know it's not the highest quality. The "chainmail" shirt and pants are just old sweaters with spray paint. Still required some sew work, as did the tabard. I haven't sewn since middle school home ec so it was.... interesting.

nice. i like the diy home look more than the look what i bought or i have a warehouse and equipment to do it fancy look.
