An excellent set of suggestions, through and through. I think everyone on this server wants two things: 1) more people, and 2) more pvp. Well, I'm not sure about #2 given how much crying I see on the daily about getting pvped in ooc... but I think we ALL want a bigger population.

The best way to increase numbers is to provide incentives to new players that will make starting out here (and thus "competing" with people on this "free for all" server) easier. Sam has listed a great set of incentives that would benefit new players (and thus be likely to increase newplayer and returning player population) and help the server thrive.

Incentives like these will attract more players which will help return the server to a healthier population as developers continue to work towards Velious. It is important that the population is not in a desperate state as the game world grows dramatically with release of the next expansion.
