Hi everyone - first post by me
I am way way way overweight - I'm 5'7 and 330lbs. I'm 33 yrs old and it's time to turn my life around. After 15 years of no exercise of any kind, i have just started doing daily cardio (bike) for half an hour in the morning, and doing some weights 4 days a week. I have only being doing this for two weeks and while its hard, I am highly motivated. But I am very confused and need help. I know two personal trainers who are giving me conflicting advice. One trainer says do high reps (15-25) with light weights. Other trainer says thats crap, and do low reps (8-12) with higher weights because creating muscle improves metabalism for overweight people. So - which should I do??? 1. high reps low weights; or 2. low reps (8-12) heavier weights Plus any reasons/advice would be great. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=122331101 | ||
