Yeah...I gave an alt a fbss and then changed my mind about his class, but wanted to keep the name. Switched out all the gear but missed the FBSS! Deleted the toon, and remade...only to realize that I didn't have a fbss in the bags!

Doh!
I literally did this exact same thing lol.

I did that once - except it was IRL, with my new cell phone, and the ocean in question was Cape Cod Bay.

Booze cruises can be very dangerous for cool new gadgets. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I knows that feeling.

I accidentally deleted my SoD raid BP on live. Luckily the GM's were able to restore it a few days later.

Spent like 3k twinking out a wiz alt, died an annoying death, logged out without getting my corpse then got suspended for 7 days like 12 hours later, so the corpse rotted. Nothing too bad, at least not like a lost FBSS. :P

In 2002 I was sitting in Sebilis and accidently deleted a manastone, thought it was a lightstone that my friend had looted for whatever reason while using my 60 wiz as a taxi. GM Namdarie was on Fennin back in those days, after Dynan. Namdarie was a good lil gnome and restored it on the spot. I actually got it back no less than 5 mins after I deleted it, he must have been free at the time. It was humorous, though, as I screamed obscenities in group chat, petitioned, gnome appears and gives me a new one. People were convinced I had a GM in my back pocket.

On Live I died sorta deep in Old Sebilis with my level 56 Troll Warrior that had full indicolite, the DE mask, and that Soul Leach sword that drops in PoF to name a few things. It was really late and the group decided to try for a CR the next day. Well I came home the next day to find my apartment complex burned to the ground. I didn't have access to a computer with EQ and to be honest, recovering that corpse was the last thing on my mind. I quit EQ after that. It was sometime shortly after Velious was released.

When I logged in for the very first time on live I was standing in front of a bard in full lambent, who opened up trade with a bag of full banded, 2000 plat and an SSoY and gave them to me. I played and kicked ass for about a week, the whole time spent in Qeynos Hills so I was oblivious to say the least of the economy on my server.

I was level 12 finally making the trek from Qeynos to Freeport before my fam. left for vacation to Hawaii for my Dad's birthday. So I zone into WC and what do ya know there's a train of orcs from the camp on the left wall, needless to say I died and respawned in Surefall Glade. I did not know at the time that corpses decay, so when I had to leave for the airport before I could CR I didn't think anything of it.

I sold a Dark Reaver to a merchant recently right after leaving Guk. Worst part was the merchant wasn't full but he was asking something like 1200-1300pp for it which was more than the going rate. Considering that I was actually going to sell an item for change instead of just giving it to an alt I had to just leave it there. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Dimensional Holes, before I realized they were summoned bags in 1999. Found two of them on the ground. Put a lot of my gear in it (bagged due to PVP) without knowing about summoned items. I hate you, mages. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
