Diablo 2: Hell Unleashed absolutely defecates all over the atrocity that is d3. If you want to play diablo, i'd give that a shot. Bring friends...

Blizzard fooled me once into buying an unfinished casino slot machine masked as an ARPG once, not falling for that again.

It's pretty much what LoD was to D2. Fixed a lot of stupid stuff, added some neat stuff. Not as much longevity as runewords though imo.

Still a loot grind game, though still missing something that made D2 have that charm. Not sure what.

well said. people's expectations got high for d3 but they ignored the overall architecture of the game. always has been a loot grind game.
