We used to have global /ooc long ago, then the pop. hit above 400 regularly and that got removed. It was annoying.

The spam, the stupid stories etc etc got tiring quick. Now imagine whith 700-1k people what it would look like.

Conversely, if you would like a global chat channel, head on over to Project 1999 Red: PvP for all your global chat needs.

This. You will see just how much of a cesspool PvP makes a server... Or global chat makes a server... Or both.
