play in window mode, leave loading screens on, spam the little X as soon as you start to zone and it will close.

open task manager, go to processes, end eqgame.exe

gmae instantly closes for me

Zone too fast just make a dos bat file to stop eqgame.exe that you can window key click instantly, guaranteed never to plug after a zone again.
