SSoY's have a higher proc chance on swing than the others. It's why it's more expensive. I have found though that the Kunzar weapon (engulfing darkness proc) is 100x better than holding two SSoY. The Kunzar should be in your MH while the SSoY in your OH. The Kunzar has about a 30% higher chance to proc on a swing than the SSoY so it will help you keep aggro a LOT easier. I have done weeks of testing now on my parser program.

Nilbog: All weapon procrate mods set to zero

It may have been true in the past that SSOYs proc'd more often then the other Yak weapons, but it isn't true anymore.

hey skittlez have you done any testing with the blood fire weapon? procs at lvl 46 with a better weapon ratio. was thinking of trying that when i get 46

I suppose i could just be getting lucky, but I don't think so. My parsing info says otherwise.

Hell just my proc rate in general says otherwise. I am 100% sure they didn't make every proc weapon have the same rate to proc. If I am wrong then I am getting really lucky in the chance to proc department.

Are they recent parses? This change just barely happened in January, and are you parsing SSOY and then comparing it to yak club ect..? Making sure you're not getting dex buffs or making changes to your dex in general between tests.
