Just watched the first episode. Couldn't make it the whole way through. McConaughey's steven seagal impersonation isn't working for me.

Surprised at the 95% approval rating on IMDB. It either picks up or you all have poor taste [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I noticed a huge bump in this show's popularity when Alexandra Daddario showed her titties. Also a huge bump in Daddario's popularity. Two massive bumps on that gal

I intend to watch this show

I think the show actually had it's lowest ratings in her nude episode haha.

What I'm loving about this is watching it from week to week instead of binging. None of my friends are talking about House of Cards right now because we're not caught up in it. I watched 4 episodes the other day, Frank did some depraved shit big surprise. True Detective theories and comments are popping up in so many conversations for my group of friends it's an amazing thing to be a part of actively experiencing for 8 weeks.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever been this into a TV show. From the writing, to the acting, to the cinematography, and post production (music, tones) this show is like nothing I've ever watched. People are equating it to watching Twin Peaks when it was on TV.

I'm getting hooked on this show. McConaughey is compelling. I didn't realize he was this good of an actor before this. Good stuff.

Missed last night's episode but it's on the DVR so I'm gonna go watch it now. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yeah, he pulled a career 180. From corny rom-com "actor" to award worthy renaissance man.

Check him out in Mud, Killer Joe, and obviously Dallas Buyer's Club.
