I'd be more interested in getting the freely downloadable client working with p99, as it would make it much easier for new players to legitimately join the server.

I vaguely followed eqclassic and was pretty excited for it. What happened with yeahlight other than people trolling the forums constantly waiting that made him quit?

Basically he got about 95% of the project done and then offered to sell it to SOE and suffice to say SOE said no thanks. This caused YL to go into rage mode and start blaming everyone else and lead to him shutting down the project.

this game totally needs to be finished, because i think alot more people would play if it wasnt so difficult to get the game-files. im all for spreading the truth that is Norrath..
