You find it puzzling that a country founded by a group of people fleeing their home land in fear of prosecution for practicing their religion would then take pride in being free to practice their religion openly in America?

Everyone that is against kids reciting the pledge of allegiance because of reference to religion has no clue what they are talking about. It is the ideal of freedom of religion. Yes Christian rights was the push for freedom of religion but in America every religion is accepted.
