Get disconnected after naming new character

Thanks for your help guys but I finally managed to figure out the problem.

I was getting bummed out thinking it was a closed port that I have no control over blocking access to the P1999 server, since I live on a university campus. I tried turning off my antivirus and windows defender with no luck. The only other thing left for me to try was to add everquest to my windows firewall ignore list as it was the last possible thing that could be blocking me aside from the port.

Luckily enough, the windows firewall turned out to be blocking me without any notifications. It works perfectly now!

Same problem for me [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] thanks! Helped also take away crashes when logging into my other previous chars!
