Necro epic is by far the crappiest quest. Eye of Inny, Slime Blood of CT, Cloak from KoS... So terrible. I guess 2/3 are tradeable but it included way too much boss loot that was useful for other things IMO.

I tried to complete my epic a few years ago on live just to say I did it.

Golems in fear are perma-camped because of AoN and people were still selling slime bloods for ridiculous amounts of plat.

Ended up doing the 1.5 pre-qualification and got my 2.0 in less than a week. This was just before the underfoot expansion landed.

Those dates are based off when Velious was released on Live and when the patch occurred. I'm not saying P99 must follow that patch schedule (though it's be nice to get close!). Just a "what to expect" as far as Druids go in Velious.

So many ring wars. I see fighting over animal skins, the various delicate trigger mobs, etc, all being big sources of contention.

The multiple people get their rings for the war at the end at least? That stuff was all so finicky, I can't remember.

It's going to be minimum 3 years until people get bored of Velious. And by people I mean the normal player, not the hardcores that are going to put in 100 days playing time.
