HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA A callback, in terms of comedy, is a joke which refers to one previously told in the set. The second joke is often presented in a different context than the one which was used in the initial joke. Callbacks are usually used at or near the end of a set, as the aim is to create the biggest laugh at the end of a comic set. The main principle behind the callback is to make the audience feel a sense of familiarity with the subject matter, as well as with the comedian. It helps to create audience rapport. When the second joke is told, it induces a feeling similar to that of being told a personal or in-joke.

If I wasn't in <Bregan D' Aerth>, I'd definitely be in <Harbingers of Thule>. You will all fall to the dominion of Soldiers of Cazic Thule. I look forward to personally conquering the terrible city of the Gnomish scum. One order of Gnome Kabobs, coming right up. 2 If I wasn't in <Bregan D' Aerth>, I'd definitely be in <Merchants of Qeynos>. I'd be a part of the intricate web of spies the Harbingers of Thule have planted throughout Norrath. By severing the trade routes of Qeynos, supply chain of goods throughout Norrath will faulter causing inflation with a side of anarchy. Destroy the infrastructure of Norrath and see it crumble to its knees in front of Cazic Thule. Down with Qeynos! | ||

If I was not in forceful entry I would either,
A. Rebuild my first guild "Poison" most likely. I had so many fun times and met a lot of the coolest people on p99 while I was a part of that guild. Ill never forget the night we broke fear for the first time after TMO wiped a few times trying themselves (they were brand new at the time) or the many times I pulled plane of hate as a druid. Most people don't know this but Poison was a stomping grounds for many great folks, we eventually reformed the guild into "Acyrid" which eventually was merged into Forceful entry. I miss those days, for sure. B. Join The A team because many close friends with whom I spent years in Poison/acyrid have made that guild their home and I always find myself regretting parting ways with a few of them. Shout outs to azzudniz and coeur [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] For two people that I think everyone should know, I would have to say Coeur is deffinetly one of them. One of the most helpful and selfless folks I've ever met in a video game. Guy has probably single-handedly saved hundreds of hours worth of peoples time by helping them whenever possible. I will also second the other poster who mentioned goodies. She was one of the nicest and most devoted players in any guild I've ever ever been in with her. Honorable mention(aka I know too many cool people to only name 2): planarity (fucking awesome player and very friendly dude), Talenos (super funny guy, loved sharing a guild tag with him), Corova (servers best paladin, smart motherfucker, very cool), Ploktor (another cool ass dude that's super nice and uber knowledgeable about the game, servers best druid perhaps), Raymor (awesome dude who will always be there for his people in any way possible), doraf (I can't tell you how many times I've been glad to have this dude as a guildmate and friend), hitpoint (another really smart and friendly person who I've had the pleasure to share a guildtag with for years) ..god this is too hard there are about 10 other people I feel like everyone should know! Haha for anyone I left out, my peeps know its all love. Cool post though, this place really could use more positivity.

If I weren't in <The Knights Who Say Ni>, I would join the newly reformed <Acryid> and stage a coup against Tasslehoff, rallying his members to leave and start my own guild which I would name <Taken>.
