That is the problem, the LnS policy has IMO <-- just created a new type of Grief.
There was always grief, but bans should not be the form grief takes.

I'm all for stuff like shadowrest. Or as some others suggested changes to PnP, such as making it guild leader specific or officer, or making it only apply to groups and not mass pvp. But make it count if someone asks for it.

TBH - the best suggestions i've seen are make people ooc for LNS, if a guild leader oocs it applies to guild, and lastly shadowrest.

You could just try not being a dick and attacking every naked person or lowbie you see. The PnP was put in place because people like Tune run around griefing anyone and everyone until they join Nihilum or quit.

Well you died in LS and then were buffing people in LS, and then attacked us in SOLB with them - I'd say the GM's were fairly lenient with the actual engage.

Which is cool, but we won the fight in SOLB - and you guys started to do your typical port back quickly, start looting and picking naked people off that were trying to get back to SOLB.

We won the fight, it wasn't arguable. I don't understand why you can't just say good fight and say see you next time - and always turn fights into all night events that people just end up quitting and saying "you fucking losers" peace.

I think we ll manage, good job on the opposition to man the fuck up and bring a fight
But thats all besides the point here. PnP by default is ok with me, but this isnt an ideal system yet, and tweaking makes sense to me.

Derubael claimed he was going to discuss revisions to the absurd rules with sirken

Again, will edit the PnP after Sirken and I talk.
over a week ago, but in the meantime they seem to have no qualms enforcing them.

I've never played an MMO, commercial or otherwise, in which the CSRs were informed enough about the game to actually understand the problems in it, let alone fix them with external rules, and r99 appears to be no exception.

Oh, you mean like when Colgate logged into Erudin yesterday to kill a few people at their binds?

I honestly don't see why he shouldn't be allowed to do it, what I want to address here is, that it should be adjusted through game mechanics, NOT through whoever sends in the most petitions.

I will quite frankly not report anyone for anything unless it is of abusive nature, which could ruin the server. I don't want to see people banned for playing the game, the population is small enough as it is.

It is of course one way to get rid of competition to just petition everyone and their mother, but it is not a game I feel like participating in during my sparetime.

it is clearly stated in the rules that if you find someone naked at their bind, you can kill them once

what the fuck are you crying about it for? what about when elderan died in mass pvp, then logged on skorge and attacked me at my bind? derubael confirmed that what he did was against the rules

You kill naked people at their binds, he kills you at your bind and you petition?
