Dude, no it didn't. Stop repeating that complete lie. I played on Xegony / The Nameless / Quellious, none of those servers had one guild controlling 95% of content. Just because you keep repeating a lie, doesn't make it truth.

Sorry to tell you but during classic era release - velious this is absolutely true.

Guilds did fall apart and new guilds took over the control of the server but at any given point in a servers history one guild controlled the raid content.

Elderan lives in 1999 or something in his brain, on Veeshan, a server that is in ZERO way shape or form similar to most of the other EQ Live servers. Other things that aren't classic:

1) 150 pop server
2) 2 year kunark
3) entire guilds walking around in azure robe's / crown of riles / donal bp's

and again, p.s., multiple raid mobs in velious have variance

Again, just because you keep repeating the way it was on Veeshan, doesn't make it accurate. We had DA / IC and another big guild I can't even remember the name of on Xegony that all fought over mobs. Same on Quellious.

Blue is a complete mess right now due to variance and kunark being out far too long. Really the only way to fix blue would be to release instance spawning. If a guild wants to raid Trakanon they can pay 500k plat for a new instance of seb which has Trakanon in it.

Elderan is used to being in the top blue guild of his time on Veeshan. This isn't veeshan bro. I played on Veeshan too and I remember there being mutilple guilds in velious that raided. Afterlife did pretty well on Veeshan from what I remember. I admit I didn't start til velious but still. No competition is no fun. Do you really enjoy fight people in crap gear with 20/30 more people?
