Well as I learned in the past, hasbin is a stickler for the definition of ironic.

Where the implied meaning is opposite of the literal meaning.


Coincidence being two events that coexist in relation but actually being completely independent of the other.



It is not a coincidence because this dude is (I didn't actually read the thread or remember what we're talking about) what he says everyone else is, because he is, in fact, this trait. He is, actually, saying everyone else is (and implying he is not) BECAUSE he is.

It is ironic because the implied meaning is that he is NOT this trait, while the literal meaning is that he is this trait.
