Only reason Chris is around anymore is to give Seth Green something to do with the show.

Brian's the reason practically everyone I know watches anymore.

You know people who watch the show for Brian? That annoyingly overpolitical and unfunny character? I watch the show for Peter, just like I watch The Simpsons for Homer (older Simpsons, not the new stuff). Those characters are funny, Brian's just a political douche.

If he were conservative, would you love him then? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The episode where Rush Limbaugh turned him conservative was good stuff.

It's a cartoon. You can kill off a character before breakfast and have them come back at lunch. I think Seth is trolling pretty hard. I see Death coming back with some Charlie Sheen-style "quest" to bring Brian back to life and then Vinny gets hit by a car. And doesn't come back.

Unless Brian's voice actor is moving on to other things...in which case, it sucks, but Brian wasn't the rug that ties the room together, I guess.
His voice actor is Seth MacFarlane, so I doubt he is going onto other things.

https://www.change.org/petitions/set...-to-family-guy

Writer Steve Callaghan told E! Online that Brian's fate was sealed before the season began, when the writers decided killing a character would provide a valuable shakeup.

Callaghan said that however much the characters and viewers loved Brian, the show felt it would be easier to weather his loss than the loss of a two-legged family member.

Brian's departure could potentially change several key dynamics on the show, since he was a sounding board and frequent skeptic about family schemes.

Brian was 11.

No because it's the fact he's not funny that I don't like. What's the term for anti-comic relief? That's what he is.
