EQ wasnt ment for a 6-10 year old to play. Some video games yes like barbie's dream world are for childen but most games today are not for 6-10 year olds and dont have weak main characters.

i once found a link to a pokemon MMORPG that was based on pokemon red/blue

can't find it again

anyone know any leads?

or of anything similar but better?

anyone know an emulator for red or blue? can't find my old cartridges for the gameboy.

emulating red or blue shouldn't be too hard to do

don't know of any off hand, but just google Gameboy Emulators and then find a ROM on some pirate bay (.sx) ish website

i do 64 on my crap comp, so GB should be good to go. never searched for emulators for that though.
