i started soloing in Kaesora on my red server paladin at level 42. probably could have started it earlier though. just make sure to study the map a lot.... getting back to the exit can be confusing after the initial drop in.

here's a good old guide about kaesora, written by a paladin: http://www.angelfire.com/rpg/whitewi...es/kaesora.htm

the best spot for you to solo at is at #3 on this^ map, and the tunnels to the north of #3. if you get a group together you can head towards the library or the church where the boss of Kaesora, Xalgoz, spawns.

added bonus about Kaesora: melees can bind right outside! the ruins around Kaesora in Field of Bone are one of the few non-city locations that melees can bind at.
The tunnles just after the spider area is better imo, especially for a paladin - all undead after that until you get to the library where a couple of sperms reside. Clear out the wanderer 1st, he will come all the way up to the ramp leading down (just to the right of 3) and then you have a 2 spawn to deal with. Further down is a 3 spawn and 1 wanderer i think that you can clear 1st can a pally handle that? thats about the hardest p;art if you wanted to go to the library area. (might be best to stick to the ramp where it's safe apart from that 1 wanderer)

I did Kaesora with a shaman once upon a time. As everyone has said, the xp was very nice and the place is quite fun.

A few things to watch out for though are adds, poisons, and healers:

Some of the mobs in the dungeon flee, and sometimes the paths they take are a bit odd and end up bringing certain death back to you; other than that though you don't tend to get big pulls even when splitting a room up, although pathers near the library (need to be a bit higher than 37 I think) can be an issue. Poisons are annoying. Even if you can cure them, they are still quite a bit more damage that you take over the course of the fight since they proc like crazy. I can't remember if some spiders have a nastier poison than others. Healers are the worst. Maybe you won't mind if you're there with a pally, and I guess they nerfed caster mana since I was there too. But omfg, as a decked-out sham who was meleeing and only had slam to interrupt, those damn skeleton clerics could greater heal themselves like 8 times before going oom. Undead will heal each other too, even if you aren't engaged with them all and through walls and shit.

One last thing! Watch out for the necro spider, haha. He can spawn very close to entrance and is quite a handful.

Hell yeah, he is lethal. He loads you up with 3 or 4 real nasty dots, best to avoid really. Frenzied Strathbone.

Anything thats not skele will run. The warders (skele healers) I find heal themselves (and other mobs) no more than 4/5 times. Such a pain.

Spectres to 49? Feerott specs are less camped than Oasis specs... usually quite peaceful, and can sell outside Oggok if you're playing a decent shaman race [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

i was able to solo him on my paladin. all the spiders have pretty low mana pools... so what i did was root him, then Cancel Magic/Cure Poison all his DOTs until he was oom.

Skittlez -- i think its probably been conveyed by now, but Kaesora is pretty dangerous. the crazy ZEM rate makes up for it, but be prepared to die a few times while you figure the place out. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
